FBH - Not working at all after service (warranty work) |
|
Hi all;
I had fitted the Webasto timer as per the PDF instructions, and it was working wonders. Now after the car went for its service and warranty work on the torque convertor (noise), the FBH has stopped working in full.
Even when it is cold as it was today -2C it didn't kick-in when I first switched the engine on, nor after few minutes.
After messing around with fuse 28, removing the plugs, pressing here and there to try to reset the unit, I ended up at the same point where I started - FBH not working.
Is it possible that after the service, they have upgraded the car’s firmware and it caused the FBH to operate in a different condition then previously?
I have noticed (not related I think) when the car came back from service, the Webasto time was wrong (possibly because of the disconnection of the battery) but the automatic wiper settings, which I used to adjust +/- on the stick control, depending on the rain condition, it has a totally screwed up setting now.
I think when they uploaded the new firmware; perhaps they messed with other car parts.
Have you got any ideas pls?
Thanks
