FBH won't switch fans on
Hi hopefully someone can help I've fitted a v top from a rrs to my van I'm using a w-bus adapter and have it functioning but I cant get an out put from pin 8 to switch a relay that I have connected to the interior fans does anyone have any suggestions has it been disabled? Can it be enabled or do I just have a faulty unit

Pin 8 output is not used on the Land Rover units.

I understand that you guys don't use pin 8 but all the wiring diagrams show pin 8 as a fan output above 50c I'm just trying to figure out if it needs to be activated in the software or if it can even be made to function on the landrover v top

The output is disabled by webasto.
Fit a thermostat in the hose from the webasto water pump.

Thanks so much for this it was a toss up between buying a diagnostic harness or as you suggested an inline thermostat 👍 Once agin thanks very much I'm off to buy a thermostatic switch
