FFRR 4.4 TDV8

Hi gang,

After a long and fruitless search for a D3/4 that meets my very picky standards and requirements I have decided to move to the dark side and have agreed a deal on a late L322 FFRR 4.4 TDV8 and hopefully avoid the crank and oil dilution issues of the 2.7 and 3.0l engines... only time will tell (although a very comprehensive 15 month warranty helps ease my mind somewhat !)

So I have started to list all of the D3/D4 parts I have acquired Sad

Still to list are the wheels and tyres I bought off Del and the D4 steering wheel, fog light wiring loom and instrument cluster I have also found in the garage! oh and a full set of rubber mats...

A few RRS spares are listed on that site too but if anyone is looking for a grille, side vents or one alloy and tyre those will also be listed.. will make a donation to the forum once most stuff has gone...

Will try and stay in touch on the forum as the banter here is far better than other sites Smile

Pretty sure (but wouldn’t bet my last hairy winegum from down the side of the driver’s seat on it) that the wheels will fit a FFRR of that vintage, might be worth asking over on FFRR-side. Thumbs Up

Not sure if the wheels will clear the brakes as it has the larger Brembos from what I can see (fair weight of car to stop !)

There used to be servants (are we allowed to say “servants” or must one refer to them as “domestic assistants” ?) quarters in the farmhouse so I’m sure we could set up a camp bed in there... Rolling with laughter I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
