the range on full tank is around 520 km1971 SIIa LWT

Computer (which tends to be a tad optimistic) = 20mpg, range = 18mpg, which is about the same as the 4.4.==================================

Very nice! Same spec as mine, but your steering wheel is on the wrong side.
If those in the UK really want a RHD V8, and you can sort the insurance, there is a plentiful source of them in Japan - that's where mine came from (NZ imnports a lot of ex-Japan cars). All very high spec and low kms as well - my MY11 only had 40,000 kms on it - barely run in!King of the typo.
MY11 D4 5.0 V8, Bournville, lots of goodies!
Now departed: '85 RR Vogue, '94 D1, '95 D1, '70 SIIA, '97 D1, '04 D2a. All V8, except for the SIIA - but that drank as much petrol anyway!
