One thing to check is the towing electrics. All caravans from 2008ish have 13 pin electrics. Make sure your disco has the same, otherwise you will need to purchase an adapter 👍

wow wow wow. how good is the disco at hauling a load.
like you all said just do it. found myself creeping over 70 twice. but what a lovely drive. brakes are awsome too. total distance was only 170 miles but averaged 24mpg instead of 38 with no load. well impressed  had a d1 ,d2 a land mark d4 for 3 days now have awsome d4 in orkney grey hse sdv6 my12

You shouldn’t be creeping over 70 mph 😉. Max speed on uk motorway when towing (any towing) is 60 mph, and you are not allowed in the outside lane.
On National roads it’s 50mph. Check out Highway Code.

Hi again.
I know the speed limit but It didn't feel that fast.i soon backed off.
