First unofficial photos of MY2012 D4s |
|
No, I don't have them. But I understood the production has started, so I wonder when the first pics will come around?
So, this goes out to you Brits over there, maybe especially in the Birmingham area. Who will bring us the first shot of a real 2012 D4? Competition is open.

And there I was expecting photos!
Is the exterior going to be any different? Or are the only real visible changes to the interior? D4 XS MY12 Galway

Have a look at this
Whilst set as a commercial version it is the latest 8speed rules in ireland must have changed as now allowed 5 seat versions previously only 2 seats.
Dealer states because it is a 3 litre

Congrats, I'm impressed.
This means the first examples have actually hit the road.
Interesting: "This advert was last updated 7 days ago"
But it clearly is a 2012 interior, and the photos look like all of them are from the same vehicle.

I rang LR last Wednesday and asked for a MY12 brochure. The girl on the helpdesk said tha I would get it within 3-5 working days. So on that basis, it should be here tomorrow.

Yes, due to a loophole in the current tax laws we are now getting a 5 seater version of the D4 - in XE and HSE formats. The registration tax is only 13% and they can be taxed as either commercial or privately based on engine size. Big savings can be made on the full seven seat models!

The wheel fairings and the rear bumper of the D4 in the above ad are in plain non painted plastic. Do you have any idea if this is a possible customization ?
I thought all D4 had the wheel fairings and rear bumper painted in the same colour as the exterior. I must say I prefer them that way. It gives the car a tougher look and a little less the luxury touch.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I'm thinking about getting a regular (private) D4 but I prefer the black plastic arches. Do you think I could spec this from an HSE? Or have them retrofitted afterwards?

Not possible, as far as I know on passenger models, sadly. I agree - it should be a choice on all D4's when ordering.

Getting my 2012 MY HSE on Tuesday
So if I can fumble my way round posting pics will try and send some.
Think I have to set up my own gallery first, is that correct? If it don't fit the third time - try a bigger hammer

You should have a gallery already, you then setup folders within that to sort photos under different titles.
I've had a quick look but couldn't find where it is, somewhere on here are instructions on uploading photos - best do a search as the questions been asked loads of times before and it always get the same response - a link to destructions by one of the Mods, good luck, looking forward to see the pics.
