Are there any "pending" faults logged in the engine module?

It should have started and run by now, if you have fuel in the rails...

Ok well I never looked at the pending faults....

That would imply a fault with the crank sensor or wiring

I'm sure I seen a picture, this is a genuine LR recon engine, yes?

Yes genuine however it did not include sensor and wiring.

I managed to get my arm in and unfortunately the sensor is not plugged in properly. I managed to squeeze it extremely tight with the female in my palm and male on my fingers and no click.

Im lifting the body off again tonight (only put it in this morning) probably have to spade connect it if the coupling is broken. Not sure. Should have it finished sometime tomorrow.

All sorted.

To confirm it was the sensor. Simply the connector was knackered (both parts). Bought a new sensor and soldered the wires. Obviously had to take the body off again and remove turbo.

Cheers for the help all. Running smooth. Fingers crossed for the first 1k under its belt.
