Fitting Aux/Power plate to back of Base 7 Console - HELP!!!!
Thought this was straight forward if cabling was present & correct - have cables/connectors (good sign) but do not match up to LR part
I have the correct connection to the power socket, sorted! but have two green multiplugs with cables that are 5 pin, socket on LR part requires a 6 pin. tried inserting the 5 pin multiplug but very hard, stiff and does not line up!!
Anybody help on this - is there different versions of the aux/plate according to model & year??

I don't think you can connect the aux socket there simoniz, (mine didn't have the connectors either, I ran an aux cable and socket to the front, below ashtray etc. from l/h footwell as per CFB's post on this.) I only have the power socket connected at the back of the cubby box, the 'aux' socket has an 'INOP' sticker on it.

Oh heck!! - thought others had done this with no problem
What the hell is heated seat wiring doing on a base 7 then - totally illogical as usual for LR.
Ok looks like its options elsewhere for an aux connection then -better start trawling past posts , at least another power socket is worth having!!
Well been a mixed evening - at least the passenger dash cupholder install went without any problems,SWMBO will be happy with that!!
Appreciate the help guys on the ball as usual.

You need a green plug with 4 wires for the aux ...
1 small black wire and 3 in a black sheath ..red , blue and black ...like this

The 2 green plugs for the heated seats have 5 wires on each and look like this
G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I can send you a nice little 'INOP' sticker if it helps!

Next choice then would be here ...if you have the connector
Or direct from the back of the stereo ( if its a base model)

You could still run wires around to the aux in the back ..but i don't know if you could just get a green plug from LR ...failing that you could connect the wires directly to the aux socketG4 Gone ...but not forgotten
