Fitting new aircon compressor d4

Has anyone done one of these?
I need to do ours, a new Delphi one arrived yesterday courtesy of autodoc.
I've done a fair old amount of research, used search here etc and struggled to find anything d4 specific. Its not a job I'm looking forward to, I'm not scared of most things, but any pointers would really help me pick up the courage to get on and do the job now that the heatwave is almost over lol.
Thanks

To be totally honest AC is not something you can work on without the right equipment and a total understanding of what needs to be done. Its not just fitting a new compressor if indeed that is what was needed! If the system is gassed you will need to retrieve that gas . We are lucky in that we have the kit and do all the units on the farm but would advise you to let a pro deal with it.

Had a failed compressor been diagnosed by someone who you trust as they are not that common to pack up .

The compressor has been diagnosed by an ac expert with d4 experience, who has already vacuumed the system ready for me to do the job then he will step back in to do the regassing/oil etc.

This might help you,

Not tried replacement in situ, but I would say the job is more difficult than it looks..

If it anything like the d3, you will not enjoy the experience.
