Flat battery ?
Just tried to go out in the D4 after getting back from holiday and the battery was flat
I havnt used it for about 12 days, but that should not cause the battery to go flat..
and no, the interior lights, vanity mirrors, park heat/vent etc were not left on. Everything was shut down.
There was enough power to switch the ignition on radio etc, but nothing happend when the start button was pressed, other than the ignition switch off (yes, my foot was on the brake pedal!)
connected up the jump leads from D3 and it started after a couple of mins of charge.
anyone else had this problem ?Duncan

Thought this was a common bug sorted by the Assurance Program?? Maybe they should give you more boxes of Chocs.

As we know LR VIN ranges are a set of moveable goal posts, like the brake recall. Mmmmmmmm, chocs!! Thought of a nice big box of chocs making me drool! You can keep the wine as OTW.

I had a flat battery issue with mine a couple of months ago. Turns out it needed a Satnav software update (that was not done under the Assurance program). Problem hasn;t re-occurred since.
Had mine serviced last week when the assurance program was done. Since then, I've noticed that when I'm listening to the radio (waiting for the terminal shopper) I keep getting a message telling me to start the engine low battery. Does anyone know if the assurance prog now includes the sat nav update, that mwhwsmith has just mentioned.????

called into the dealers today and booked D4 in for a check. since the battery went flat I keep getting "Device Error" when I try and connect the iphone so may be related.
They said the car is too new for the enhancement programme but we will see what the diagnosis is next thursday Duncan

My car was too old for the brake recall but it still got done they checked my VIN against the new unissued list! I'm sure these VIN ranges are decided by the bean counters!
