Follow me home lights

No sure if that's what they are called but I've just found out that if you press the headlight button on the key fob twice (within a short period; let's say 1 sec) the reversing lights come on (in addition to the headlights)!

Quite handy really. Until now I knew that you could program the length of time he headlights stayed on for but did not know that you could control the reversing lights.

Just tried this and it doesn't work on my 10MY D4. should it work for UK spec?

Look up forum member BBS SPY on here.

Faultmate is a diagnostic system for latter LR vehicles including D3/4. Comes in simple fault code format, or all singing/dancing version that lets you change all the car's settings.

Fairy lights is a Faultmate issue - Wiggs or Geoff on here have the kit and can play around with your car for you.

Warming the cab - assuming its like a D3 then you need an extra bit of kit (Webasto timer plus accessories) to pre-warm the car.

You'll need to enquire about if this works on D4's

It is a really useful feature when you are hooking up your trailer at night or if you reverse on to your drive and need light to see your front door key hole.
