Follow me home lights from remote

Hi all,

I've seen several posts relating to the 3 button remotes being used for turning on the reverse lights

1st press - headlights
2nd press - headlights and reverse lights
3rd press - all off.

I have a D4 2016 with the newer key (5 button) and would like this feature. The headlight button just seems to turn the headlights on and off again.

I have a BT IID and noticed that "Follow me home reverse" is enabled which is why got be researching this is the first place. Found loads of stuff relating to the 3 button remotes but nothing for the newer 5 button ones.

What am I missing or what needs enabling in the CCF?

Hi Dorian,

from MY14 onward JLR introduced a new central juncion box (CJB) that no longer supports this feature.

I can picture the minutes of the meeting.

Engineer: Yep a truely useful feature.

Marketing. That’s good, we’ll remove it.

Think many owners, and possibly dealers as well, do not even know this feature exists.
It is one of the things I miss from my previous MY13.
