I have this enabled in the CCF and it's been working fine for long time now with the usual key but it has now reverted to opening the tailgate? I tried it with the spare key and it works fine.............one press for front lights two presses for reverse. I have disabled it and re enabled it using the IID but still the same.
Any ideas?

Mine does this sometimes.
There are step by step instructions in the manual telling you how to re-assign the third button without needing a IID tool.
