Ford To Close Geelong Engine Plant.

Ford has decided to close their Geelong engine plant in 2010. Bye-bye Aussie 6 cyl engine. They will import a v6 engine for their Foulcan & Terrorists after that.

When there's room in my D3 for 7,

I can go just as fast with 7.

I feel sorry for the Ford workers but having had 2 Foulcans(lease cars thankfully) one can only wonder about the Ford philosophy. It also shows why we must NEVER go back to 50% import duty. Look up Ford Pinto, Bronco/Exploder, 15 van, cruise control, spark plug problems(exiting motors while running). I just hope they sell LR to a company with a strong moral outlook.
