Ford ESP Extended Warranty |
|
Attached is a link to the contract for the Ford ESP Extended Warranty for D3's in the USA. They have just released the document and I know that people were looking for the exclusions list, it's on page 3. I don't have any relation to Ford or this warranty, I just know that people wanted to compare their offer to the LR warranty. If the link below doesn't work, look in my gallery.

I can't get it to load I hear Ford has a pretty good warranty, but that your mileage needs to be under 40K to purchase, is that correct? I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?

The file is a .pdf, can you open .pdf's? It should be in my gallery, I can open it on my machine.
From what I can tell the Ford ESP Extended warranty is identical to the Easy Care LR warranty except it's cheaper. It covers air suspension, navigation, etc. It's also about $900 cheaper. I have read about a number of USA D3 owners signing up for the Ford ESP Extended warranty, but no one could find the contract in .pdf or electronic form. That's why I posted it up here.
They also just changed their 2009 requirements, so I'm not sure if 40,000 miles restricts your ability to extend coverage. 16 D4 Landmark

I believe you have to be under 36,000 miles to extend the warranty with Ford ESP.
PremiumCare is their highest coverage. You will see the prices etc. after you select "Land Rover", and "All Models". They will warrant any D3 going forward that is still under the factory warranty at time of purchase. Website says within 36 months of purchase but this is incorrect, they updated their requirements in November 2008.
I am not endorsing this warranty, just trying to let everyone in the USA about this as an alternative to the Easy Care LR warranty.
I believe you purchase the coverage online through the website. 16 D4 Landmark

Does anyone have any updates on this option? Is the Ford ESP no longer an option due to the sale of LR to Tata Motors?
