[Free] Model railway trains and track
Posted as ‘free’ but would like a donation to go to charity of choice/NHS
Clearing garage and come across a BIG box of residual stuff of my dads. He had a huge railway layout set up and this is a small part of that.
This is box of assorted trains, carriages and quite a few lengths of track
I know nothing about model railways but will post a few pics later on if anyone interested.
Due to lockdown will have to agree a collection/drop or something suitable within rules or deferred until UK is again ‘open’

Sadly I can remember the Hornby reference numbers of some of those track sections! If I am correct the long straights were R603, and the shorter ones were R602, R601 and R600. Clearly spent far too much time designing my own layout in my distant youth!
The curved junctions/joints were worth a good amount in their day Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE
Previously:
TD5 Defender 110 CSW (230k miles)
300TDi Disco 1 (289k)
4 RR Classics (300-350k each, 2 manual, 2 auto)
110 V8 CSW (220k)
S3 109 hi cap pickup (ex RN)
S2A 88 Safari SW with lpg conversion (bloody lethal)

My layout wasn't quite that large - 10' by 5', suspended from my bedroom ceiling on pulleys so it could be lifted out of the way.
Sadly it was taken out by a Tsunami - the cold water tank ballcock failed one winter whilst we were away on holiday and the overflow brought the whole ceiling down after filling a significant part of the loft with water first.Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE
