+1 for Gary he's a star!!
I'll be getting someone else to do it as it is covered by the AA, otherwise I'd do it myself as it looks like a fairly straightforward job, also I'd go for the Dunlop struts usually but just thought I'd ask.
How long have you had yours on?
About 2 weeks. Just thinking about changing the rears.

Pushfits were excellent. No leaks and I can take the rear air valve block off in under 10mins. (includes jacking the car up and removing the wheel)

Brilliant
indeed that rear valve block otherwise can be a right sod to get out , when I fitted pushfits I thought I had forgotten something because it made life so much easier
Well pleased it all went well

What pushfit connectors did you guys use?
All four of my new Dunlop struts came with new connectors screwed loosely into the top of the strut. I pulled the plastic bit out, slid the pipe in as far as it would go, tightened it up and job done.Kev

They work out around £4.00 each where as Voss are around £15.00 each
Just found the pushfits a lot easier to install , I’m also later going to fit some pushfit tees and shrieder valves into the system incase the air compressor ever decides to fail , also handy to use them as test points
Hope it helps

I see. That's pretty cool. Cheers Gary.
I assume yours came with the new voss connectors and you discarded them?
The only issue I can see with the pushfits is over time they may corrode and be difficult to push the little ring down to release the pipe. I must say I've found some of the plastic plumbing pipe fittings in the house hard to release after being installed for a few years. I've ended up cutting the little blighters off in some cases Kev

Glad it’s useful
funny enough , Mine didn’t come with the Voss connectors or new nuts , so got the pushfits along with stainless steel nylon nuts
Indeed know where ur coming from ref the plastic ones , got the ones that also has brass collars
so I’m hoping they will last , also used some clear silicone plumbing grease on the O rings to try and prevent them from drying up
Alas ! time will tell how well they hold up

Thks, got mine from JGS , they were extreme helpful when I mentioned it
Funny enough because I hadn’t ever fitted them before , I think it took me a lot longer than it should have ( couple of days) , as I struggled with the bottom bolt and my back didn’t want to play ball so had to think of the easier way without holding the weight of the struts
I took the opportunity to spray behind the strut towers with Dinitrol so it carried on where I couldn’t gain any more access and it was the only time I used the scissor jack to slowly lift the bottom wishbone up in order I could get the large bottom bolt in, did put some coppaslip on the plain part of the bolt
Even had to buy a longer socket , shock , horror , lol
Had the disco 3, 4 x years now and it’s been the only landy that still to this day makes me grin
Ps, saw a lovely black VW T5 4x4 a little while ago , but gutted as I’m falling in love with the

Apparently the AA warranty may only cover tge cost of replacing 1 strut if the other isn't leaking. Is there anything I can use to prove that both need to swapped?
