Front Axle Shafts

In my last "rocks tour" I sheared the front right axle shaft. The car hardly reached a decent ground
drove 30 Km and stopped.
Three month ago while driving in the desert sand the right axle shaft pops out while doing no extrime anuver ?!

Before the D3 I had a D1 with enforced axle shafts diff. locks etc. !!!

This bring me to ask you, Dear freinds: Does someone have the knowlege of such solution for the D3 ?!

Yep, don't use full lock if the suspension is in extended mode.

and use the throttle progressively, not in digital mode....
Might be useful for those with auto's to learn the art of left-foot braking to control movement when driving technical sections, it prevents shock loading of the drivetrain and gives a much smoother progression as well as preserving the drivetrain components

I've not tried it for a while, but I am pretty sure mine goes BONG "Engine System Fault" when I do that. Confused

how can I not use "full lock", while the lock is automatically engaged while using the "rock crawl" mode
and the traction is not helpful ?!
Furthermore, the lock enter only when the car is in movement, while "common" cars has the "magic botton"
and the driver decides weather he wants the lock or not.

Think you misunderstand, 'full lock' refers to steering angle, the D3 will only apply progressive diff lock depending on the programme selected, torque requested and slip detected

I think someone has produced heavy duty shafts and CV joints.
