Front diff removed.. Video of bearings

So finally was forced to drop my diff and pull my lh and rh drive shafts.
Relatively straight forward job as per guides on this forum.
Had an issue freeing up the front prop shaft as was siezed solid 🙈🤬 Anyway split the diff and this is what I found.. Would appreciate comments and opinions on condition of pinion bearing? Obviously the lh and rh bearings are fubard' yet they have surprisingly little wear on the rollers 🤔

When the bearing is loose like that you will have play, you need to spin it and judge from the sound. If there is any scoring on the mating face ring, then thats a clue they are worn.

Get a kit from Advanced Factors and change them all.
The pinion one is more invovled as there is a crushable sleeve that needs to be tightened to the correct torque and needs to have the pre-load set, otherwise it will whine when in use.

Flack Thumbs Up

The sleeve have been asked for several times. Nobody knows where to get it. A shims together with the old sleeve is a possibility. Or some axle workshop maybe can get hands on one. The differentials is made by Dana.
