Front diff TAG500140

hi to all Surprised

looking for a remanufactured (or new) front diff for Disco 3 (TDV6 year 2006).

Does anyone know any workshop in Europe which deals with diffs??
(unfortunately due to brexit the applied import taxes make purchace from the UK very expensive... Crying or Very sad )

What state is your diff in? You could just fit new bearings?
Series one 1949 - in bits, chassis is strapped to the ceiling in my garage (beside the canoe)
LR 90 - In bits
Disco 3 - currently in bits

Hi

thnx for reply Smile Smile

I occasionally notice a very light grinding noise at low speeds which becomes constant at high speeds (eg. 60-80 miles/h)

Workshop stated that the diff is starting to deteriorate (i can still live with it they stated) but they don't perform rebuild...they just remove it and sent it to a 'specialized shop"...all actions are about 800+ pounds Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

so i' m considering what i have to do....

cheers

hi

could you pls give me your opinion on a new OEM front diff (eg. this one https://www.paddockspares.com/axle-asy-front.html).
has anyone installed the above part?? i ve been told it is made in UK...

In Greece the overall price of a new OEM one compared to rebuilding my old part is almost the same.....

thnx a lot for your assistance
