Front door release cable
Hello
Has anyone had experience of replacing the front door release cable? I had the door card off the car yesterday and noticed that the white plastic collared part (as seen on the right in the attached image) of the release cable has broken into 2 parts where it narrows, but still on the cable. The door release still works, what I dont know how long this will continue to be the case with it being broken. Is it a diy job, or to the garage?? The release cable and associated fixings seems cheap, it’s whether it’s worth me attempting a fix.
