You Front End Clunk

Getting a front end clunk when doing low speed manoeuvres, mostly reversing with lock on. Can also happen when pulling away in drive.
Recently had front lower suspension arms done. Also had pads and discs done all round.
Car is 2012, with 76k on the clock.
Anyone any ideas?

Pads rattling in carriers. Mine is doing this with aftermarket pads. Goes away if I
Lightly press the brake.

Thanks both. Thinking it’s brake pads in carriers. Feel sure they are aftermarket. Also cannot recall it happening before I had them replaced.

I had this with my wife's BMW when we bought it used. Took it back to the dealer's they put genuine BMW pads in and it was problem solved.

Update:
Was the the Lower suspension arms replaced in October last year. Bolts not tightened properly. Scary thing is this work was carried out at Farnells in Bradford. A Land Rover franchise dealership. Now needs four wheel alignment, again.
Which they failed to do back in October, before I pointed out to them that the steering wheel was 45 degree out of alignment.

There's a lesson in reasons to stay away from LR franchise operations. Find yourself a LR indy with a good reputation. Ask on here, I'm sure there's one in your area who will do the work properly.

Under normal circumstances, would avoid dealerships for the obvious reasons. Only reason I had the work done at Farnells was because of Warranty Direct. Farnells is one of their preferred garages. In other words, you get the work done, the garage bills Warranty Direct. You just pay the excess, and 20% of parts.
Problem was discovered by Parkside in Huddersfield, who we’re doing timing belts. I had asked them to investigate.

I can understand in all fairness. They will have left them loosely torqued to be set at the wheel alignment at road height. Clearly someone forgot or didn't communicate this with the wheel alignment people. Humans. Evil things.
