I have a 5 year old D3 SE Auto with 85,000 miles. I have had a vibration from the front end for some while and despite looking at it on three occasions, the dealer can't find anything wrong. It only happens under acceleration, generally going uphill (when the front end is lightly loaded?) or when the road surface is a little rough, and feels like it is a suspension issue. If it was a conventional car I would be looking at the shocks. Just had new track rod ends and a new air suspension muffler and dryer fitted today but the vibration is still there. Anyone got any ideas?????

Hi Biz
Thanks for the welcome.
No, that doesn't describe it at all. Most of the time there is no vibration and no noise at any time. It only happens s I described, under acceleration. Worth reading though. Did you get yours sorted?

Nah, not yet, haven't had time to book it in...
Belt tensioner pulley on its way out? Suspension/ARB bushes? Both seem quite common, don't have the threads to hand but I'm sure they'll pop up if you do a search...
