I just had my first mot last week at a main dealer...it's still under warranty and when it was serviced 2 months ago it got an amber light for the front lower ball joints, I knew they where knocking so expected it to be done for the mot. Nope, yellow advisory notice, play in both lower ball joints and this is a car with a Landrover Approved mot insurance thing, so my thoughts are that ball joints arent covered under that warranty ?? Also they probably wouldnt want to swallow the £90 charge for the wheel alignment as it was done at the last service ??

Had the bushes done and got the car back on thursday. Have been away for the weekend with the caravan. Car rides so much better now and the knocking has gone YEPEE!! .
took some finding. There is a slight knocking that I can feel through the steering but I asume that may be the uj on th shaft. I think the track rod ends were done a little before I bought it.
After lower arm replacement I have noticed the car pull a little to the left. I am going to have the 4 wheel alignment done for sure. Current: D3 commercial
Past: but not forgotten D3 HSE x2, 5 TD5 disco2's, 1 200tdi disco1, 2 300tdi disco1 one of which was a commercial, Off roader with a rather large spec, ARB's and big travel suspension to name a few.
Pajero SWB 2.8 for off road playdays
