Fuel Filler Door Locking? |
|
Has anyone else in an Australian spec car noticed that their fuel filler door doesn't lock on superlocking?
My car, and three different loan cars I have had from the dealer don't lock.
I've asked the dealer to look at it, but as I said before, they seem to just ignore it.

Mine locks.
My understanding is that the Aussie spec cars superlock on the single push of the remote.
Maybe you are pushing the lock button twice in quick succession which is not super locked as far as I know. I might be wrong.

I was under the impression that double press (which I don't do), was for disabling the Interior Space protection, which we don't have anyway........ well, I don't.
The locking pin doesn't seem to exist. Doesn't seem to on any of the loan cars either.
I might have to ask the dealer again.

Mine locks.
In fact, the very first time I filled her up (not having read the book), I thought it was busted cause I couldn't get it open.
I opened the car, grabbed the book, looked it up, and turned a deep shade of red (well deeper than normal anyway). Have a nice day!
