Fuel tank

I know the Disco 3 has a large fuel tank. I didn’t buy it for its economy- although I got 500 miles out of a tank before the fuel light came on over this weekend which I was impressed with- but sixty quid of diesel at a Shell station didn’t quite raise the needle over halfway........ I’m thinking my fuel gauge may not be totally accurate? Will these things hold £120 of fuel? The pumps round us turn off at £99 automatically.... Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007

I suppose it depends on what your paying for your fuel, last week I filled up and it cost me £110.00. I never think about my fuel, if it needs some I fill up, life is to short to worry about these small things.. Thumbs Up

I suppose you are both right and I wasn’t expecting economy or as I said not really ever been fussed about mpg. It did make me look twice though.... I could fill my first motorbike for fifty pence. Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007

I remember ten bob notes well. When I was sixteen we had gone decimal though.....I still use ten bob or thirty bob in my every day language. People look at you funny....
