Fuel tank capacity of the Disco 4

Does the Discovery 4 have a smaller fuel tank capacity than the Disco 3 ?

It's pretty similar to the D3. In fact the last D3s share the same tank as the D4.

It contains 84 litres, approximately 3 of which are not useable to protect the high pressure system. The D4 fuel gauge is very conservative and typically shows empty with around 14 litres (11 useable) left in the tank.

That certainly fits Robbie, filled up this morning with 6 miles remaining and the pump clicked off at 70 litres.

I do wish the low fuel warning would appear sooner than around the 20 mile mark, but good to know around 10 litres still available.

Fat bloke, it's not your trip comp out, they are all the same, 400-450 to a tank full. Even at its most expensive I have never got more than about £95 fuel in, whereas D3 were up around £130

I'm experiencing the same D4 seems to take about 5L less than my D3 at the pump. I can get a big variance in distance to empty from sitting level at the house, it can go from 30miles to 5 by moving it back and forth just a few yards.
