Funnily enough suspension!

07 D3 suspension went down to the bumpstops. have since found corroded wires under front left wheel arch. Sorted them, had an air leak near the reservoir valve block sorted that. Using a hawkeye I have had C1a13,C1a36,c1131 and c1a20. I had both a spare compressor and reconditioned the one on there. I still have an issue where the pressure builds up in the reservoir to 16.8 bar and then dumps all the pressure out of the exhaust valve. If I switch off the veh before I get to 16.8 bar it dumps all the pressure. It will hold about 3.8 bar as a residual pressure. I can't find any air leaks. It seems to me the exhaust is closed then once is gets to 16.8 bar is opens and stays open till the pressure is below 3.8 then closes. I am now getting only C1A20 fault code, thinking the pressure sensor is part of the problem here? or is this simply both exhaust valves on both AMK compressors are shot?

Cheers

ps how the f$%k does the little compressor filter come out?

It is possible that that one or more air lines are blocked. Remove compressor and use air line to blow out all air lines. You may need to disconnect the lines from the valve blocks to do this. It could also be the exhaust valve that is clogged up so worth a check.
