Fuse 11 ( Washers )

Tie some strong cotton around the offending fuse before you inset it. That way you can remove it with ease and without long nose pliers next time it blows.

Great idea! I knew we would find a use for string in the D3 eventually! Now what can we use the gaffer tape for? Wink

Hi Gareth,

If you have a quick release towing hitch you will find that the key slot is not protected with a cover and will quickly get clogged with dirt causing problems when using the key, you will potentially push grit into the key mechanism. So, to overcome this problem.......you are probably ahead of me by now....cut a small circular piece of ......yes, GAFFER TAPE and stick over the key slot, no further problems.

So both string and gaffer tape can improve your new Disco3

if you wet the string or cotton, it'll make a circuit, thereby negating the need to replace the fuse.... wet string technology - it really works Very Happy errrrrr Thud
