Any one had issues with Fuse 24 in the glovebox? It keeps Blowing - thereby loosing sidelight and tail light on the OS The DRLs stay working (13.5 Headlights) the DRL cuts out once the headlight or sidelight is selected on the drivers side - I am assuming it has a short somewhere and just got the headlights out and the heavens opened before I could have a good look.
Apart from a bit of a poor splice where the supplying dealer took a feed from the headlamp loom on the drivers side everything else looks OK.
The splice in question is crimped into the Red/Orange wire on the drivers side headlight loom.
Does anyone know if this is the sidelight pos. The car has had the LR DRL kit fitted by the supplying dealer as well as Driving lights, so Im not sure if this is for the DRLs or for the Driving lights. Everything is disappearing behind the front bumper so I cant see where the cable goes to and its dark and raining. The LR DRL kit hasnt worked since I had the car and as its all tucked behind the front bumper I havent felt the need to strip it off to see why.
Cant see a wiring to pin out diagram anywhere does anyone have one??Must stop buying shiny toys....

Just found a copy of the installation manual for the DRL Kit
Hopefully this is the root cause...
Im guessing there is a short somewhere on the DRL kit so will cut it out completely and see what happens
Ironic that the original owner paid for the supplying dealer to fir the DRL kit and it looks like they gave the job to a 5 year old - none of the heat shrink has even been properly heated!

That wire is the one that turns off the DRL when the side lights come on. You will have an additional fuse in the fuse box which supplies power to the control box and also another wire under the centre console which is the ign wire (if I remember correctly). It may be worth pulling the fuse as you may still have power to the control box.
I re-wired mine to switch off when the main lights came on so that I had the DRLs on with the fairy lights.012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)

Yes forgot to add that I found the fuse and pulled it for the power feed (no.58 ) and should have also clipped the cable under the cupholder, but havent gotten around to that one yet.Must stop buying shiny toys....
