Put the bonnet in extended position to remove the battery, it can save a few trips to a chiropractor It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Thanks again for your help. Would you disconnect both batteries... there is two.. one is smaller, I'm guessing like a leisure battery for the night heater. Also I don't seem to have a code for radio which I suppose will come up when I reconnect the batteries ? Anyone have a part number for the replacement rubber elbows ?
Thanks

Passenger sunroof drain
I have done several of these, your choice is SELL the car!! OR remove fuse box, as said not a nice job but be patient, you just cannot get to the rubber grommet with the fuse box in place, I know i have tried! I also remove the outer wing by the door shut to access the drain hole. (Easy on D4 as they have a vent this side). Buy a completely new hose and end to ensure you don't have to do it again!!!

Thank you for your replies.. did you have any issues once you plugged fuse board back in... fault codes and things not working ? I'm hearing some horror stories about it. Did you disconnect the battery ? I will try pushing a wire down the pipe first but I think if it was blocked it'd be leaking around head lining... its not.. water appears in the channel where wires run in front passenger foot well as soon as I put a drop of water onto sun roof. Typically I think it off the 4 tubes this looks the hardest to fix..I was going to change all 4 rubber elbows.
I had no problems relating to errors, and actually taking out/refitting the CJB isn't the problem, it is disconnecting and reconnecting the multiplugs on the back of it that is a nightmare.

Make sure you have a good collection of swear words to do this job, you will use them all many times! However after a few failed attempts to reconnect everything it just then made sense that you have to turn some of the connectors to get the clearance needed to get them to seat and after many attempts it just went!
I disconnected the battery after letting the car go to sleep and did a hard reset afterwards, all was good in the world, and also got a collection of step down connectors for my aqua vac that allowed me to get some small pipework under the carpet to get as much of the water out!Must stop buying shiny toys....

Afternoon peoples,, I have today successfully removed the cjb .. it was very tricky.. and as said.. the rear plugs were a mare to reconnect. I found that my rubber elbow had split as in picture. I don't know why this should happen its a 2013 so not that old.
I couldn't have attempted this without your help...thanks again.
