Fuseholder

Gents ,

I'm taking a 60 amp supply from the second battery to one of the rear compartments for an inverter ( rated at 60 amp).I'll be putting a 60 amp inline fuse on the positive feed.Should I also take the negative from the battery negative or would it be ok to use one of the body studs in the rear ?

Secondly I'm also taking another 60 ampish supply from the spare battery and bringing it in under the steering wheel.I to fit a 5 or 6 blade fuseholder in this position and distribute this to various gadgets in the front. The only fuseholders can get locally are the 5 in , 5 out type.I just need a single feed in and then the 5 or 6 feeds out.I've had alook at various web sites but cant seem to see any. Also looking for a battery clamp with 3 studs on it.

Thanks.

Regarding the battery clamp, take a look here http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/search_re...=0&y=0

The fusebox you want does exist - can't remember where right now. Will have a think.

I used the studs as the back of the car for the negative and it works fine for me.

EDIT. Found the fusebox. Has one stud for the incoming 12V +ve wire and 6 fuses on a bus-bar.
