I usually run about in the D5, but as the boy is at Uni and his car is here, I’ve been exercising it periodically.
It’s okay. It’s a 6 year old Corsa and I could have purchased at least 15 of them for one
D5. Makes you think.

You can’t beat bangernomics. My old banger costs me square root of naff all to run and doesn’t mind be busing her, like 3 years between oil changes. Mind you she only does between 2k and 4k a year.
There’s a “pretty nice” looking D4 TDV6 HSE MY12 LHD somewhere Germany with only 270000 km on it with an asking price of around 11500 euro... bangernomics indeed.
(And for the ones saying “ooh, the engine will go any any minute now”, sure, it might but it got up to 270k didn’t it)

The blue D4 in the picture has a really nice color to it. Is that Loire blue or did someone just photoshop it so bright and shiny?

I like this bit about the D3:
"That’s the problem with these: in later years they become money pits.."
that's not my experience at all, they are money pits from year 1, it's just the stuff that costs you money that varies the older they get and theeeeennn......???
