Yes that would be very helpful. I would be keen on this type of install and keep my 4x4 info screen but no matter how much I search for Android screens realted to BMW X5 E35, I can't find as per the picture on AliExpress. I can only find items that seem to replace the existing head unit on ones of these vehicles.
Anyone have a link to a unit as shown in the pictures?

I assume it is this one. I am intrigued how it was fitted in the pictures though, I guess the Mounting brackets on the bottom that fit into the BMW installation have been removed, and then it is attached to the Dash Top with some sort of adhesive?
Anyway, abit out of my price range, certainly the ones that replace the existing screen in the Disco 3 are far cheaper at ~$200 and also run Android 10, not sure if they are any better though.
Certainly this option lets you keep the 4x4 info screen so is certainly tempting.
