GAPII BT Activation

Hi Guys...Bought a GAP from a member of this site and am having problems activating it. I have paid the transfer fee to GAP and registered on their website.
Have the app on my iPhone and connected it to the car and it recognised the VIN etc. Proceeded to the Activation page and got the 10 digit number and selected "Activate" and proceeded to their website and a message came up that I need to pay an activation fee.
Got onto my PC and logged in to GAP and put the 10 digit no. into the relevant box and tried to submit it and it flagged up that "VIN serial" is needed entered my 16 digit VIN and it rejected it saying it should be 9 digits long.
Have emailed GAP support but obviously they don't work weekends so can anyone come up with any suggestions or advice

i emailed gap with the same thing. they said when you connect it will give you the code. then enter it should work.
i thought gap gave you the code, they dont

I followed the instructions in their mega user guide several times without success and have sent a mail to Support but will probably have to wait at best until tomorrow afternoon for a response.
I'll post the outcome afterwards. Does the registration fee include activation ? I have read a couple of posts on here where people have had to pay a "New vehicle" fee on top of the Registration charge. The previous owner bought it for his Disco 3 which he has sold and no longer had use for the GAP.

Hi Guys.. Received email from Gap support this afternoon with the Activation code, taking the time difference into account it was sent just after they started work for the day.
Input the code into the GAP tool and it activated fine without any issues.

There were no additional charges to the 36 Euro new owner registration fee that I paid.
