Garmap for factory system?

Probably a daft question, and I think I know the answer, but is it possible to use Garmap mapping products with the factory satnav in an SE? I am about to do a trip exploring some back roads in the Karoo and don't think the LR DVD will do the job. Alternative is to use my 60Cs of course, but that is OK at best for vehicle-based route guidance I find.

Thanks Rob. Is there any way of getting mapping updates other than through LR - again I think I know the answer? My experience is that coverage is OK in cities, but not great thereafter Sad . I believe I have the latest DVD from LR.

Nick,

Not to the best of my knowledge. When I'm "out of range" for the in-car satnav I use my Garmin and Tracks 4 Africa.

Garmin and T4A is the only way, Nick. The integrated GPS software is great for the city, but that's about that. once off the beaten track, its useless. Don't even know if its got Benoni on it Laughing
