Gear selector rota

My gear selector will on occasions on start up, will rise then lower and wait a few seconds then rise again, any one had this, it happened once last week but twice so far this week, any ideas??

D3 TDV6 HSE, Bonatti Grey, 7 Seats, Dual Climate, Heated F&R Seats & Screen, Fog's , Auto lights & Wipers, SAT NAV, Harmon Kardon, Cruise, many rattles, occasional leak
D2 3.9 V8 supposed to be Green, was mainly rust. Gone but not forgotten.

My knob has always functioned as it should Whistle

However, it did apparently have a software upgrade once. I don't know what the upgrade was supposed to fix but perhaps it could cure your premature withdrawal problem Rolling with laughter

A blue pill from LR, there will be a TSB and part number somewhere on here, it will then rise without problems Laughing

On the serious side a few Evoque owners had this, not sure what the fix was. Sorry

Booked in for recall and software update, they are going to look at the massive flat spot on set off as well,

oh and the hesitation, anything else i should get them to look at ? maybe fuel consumption as I'm only getting about 26/gallon Crying or Very sad

ok i will man up i have the same problem with my knob ,usually happens when it is cold. It made a complete refusal one frosty morning ,had to go for a restart . Also I have the flat spot on pulling away,its like launch control.

Now done 5000 miles Thumbs Up
