Gear selector rota
My gear selector will on occasions on start up, will rise then lower and wait a few seconds then rise again, any one had this, it happened once last week but twice so far this week, any ideas??

My knob has always functioned as it should
However, it did apparently have a software upgrade once. I don't know what the upgrade was supposed to fix but perhaps it could cure your premature withdrawal problem MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

A blue pill from LR, there will be a TSB and part number somewhere on here, it will then rise without problems

Booked in for recall and software update, they are going to look at the massive flat spot on set off as well,
oh and the hesitation, anything else i should get them to look at ? maybe fuel consumption as I'm only getting about 26/gallon

ok i will man up i have the same problem with my knob ,usually happens when it is cold. It made a complete refusal one frosty morning ,had to go for a restart . Also I have the flat spot on pulling away,its like launch control.
