I have a 56 Hse disco3 with 102 miles, just recently it as started to over rev and change up or down the auto gears, for instance you get a bang when you come to pull upto and away from a junction, it will then hunt up and down the gears until it settles down, it will also suddenly over rev when your are sat with the selector in drive waiting in a car park or at a junction and you have to jam your foot on the brake otherwise you end up smashing into the car in front (not happened yet but had a few close shaves), this tends to happens after about 5 mins of driving and then stops when everything warms up.
Had it into Ovalgreen in leeds, (superb service) they reset the gearbox and all seemed well for a couple of weeks but its just started again.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi and Welcome 
Has your gearbox fluid ever been changed. There are quite a few that have reported the surging etc and many have been delighted with the outcome of a double flush from a site sponser.
