Just replaced the gearbox filter on my 2010 D4 I measured what I drained out at 5.2ltrs, only managed to get 3.6 ltrs back in
Went through the gears and slowly topped it up, pans nice and warm even been for a drive but can’t get anymore in any ideas?

I have had just had my gearbox drain and filter/pan change on my 8 speed and it took 8 litres for the job, after it had been left to drain for a while, but I do believe they dropped the valve body, anyway all done now and very very smooth changes,it was excellent before but sublime now
