| Gears won't Change - Engine won't Stop |

Have had this happen twice in last fortnight:
Start up, drive off - auto box won't change gears. Command shift allows gears to change manually. Stop put into park, engine won't turn off with key. Open passenger door, engine will now turn off.
Start again, box worked ok.
Tried searching topics didn't find any leads 'S' TDV6, Air suspension, Terrain Response, Active rear diff, Safari Snorkel, Opposite Lock rear wheel carrier, OL drawer system, Cargo Barrier, Dual batteries with Rotronics isolator, GME 3440 UHF. Codan NGT HF, Asus UMPC running TrackRanger. Cooper LT245/70R17 STTs when off-road. Tow Ultimate off-road camper.

Sounds like it is not detecting it is in park (switch?). I think someone elsehad a problem with this and the gear lever connectors were loose but not sure. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

There have been similar posts on here about gear selection problems caused by corrosion in the linkage.
I had a similar problem, easy fix by dealer.
