Geneva 11
Just finished press day at Geneva and thought I'd take some iPhone snaps on the LR stand… not sure what to think this year? LR (like everyone else) have been forced to showcase how pc they are, but it all looked a bit wrong to my eyes. There seems to be a conflict in showing how green you are, and yet allowing things to still be fun? The FFRR is looking very dated now... wish they could get a new one out soon.
First off… because you couldn't miss it, was the very white Pursuit(Oops) Landmark Disco. I liked it in a sort of drug dealers way but not sure about the white plastic looking bits on the interior? Lovely stitching on the leather and I wouldn't say no but probably too bling for some.
Next to this was another white range-e RRS. I've no idea why it has two (three) fuel flaps? One's obviously for the charger but the second? Nice to get out of the congestion charge but a good move from LR? I think there'll be a market in just selling the stickers to keep the greeny's quiet!
The usual line of Evoque's were there looking less and less like the show car each time I see them… even starting to get bored of the look already and yet the Disco still impresses!
I wasn't really interested in the Ranger Wildtrack on the Ford stand but it was the typeface on the front that caught my eye. Difficult to get a good shot of it… sort of looks familiar to me? I'm sure there'll be some people who think it's connected to another product beginning in RANGE
Nice matt grey wrap on the RRS... body kit was a bit bling but the colour looked really smart to my eyes!

They had a black version of the D4 at the caravan show, I though it was a Landmark special addition, look to have the same uprated trim etc.

Aston Martin DB4 (I think, not so well educated on DB3/4 era) Zagato
Edit
Ha, I was right, unlike some supposedly professional car sites who say it was a DB3, it was definitely a DB4GT Zagato
Here's a link showing the D4 in the background....
