Genuine LR Winch kit

can anyone advise what the difference is between genuine LR winch kit parts VUB501470 and VUB501471 please ?

or are they exactly the same kit and LR have just changed the part number ?

The one I've just fitted ended with a '1'. I wondered the same as you, but looking through the instructions the conclusion I came to is that the only difference was that the UB501471 instructions cover fitting it to a RRS as well as a disco 3.

If you look on the Duckworth landrover site it the '1' comes up for the discovery 4 only, but they have definitely got it wrong IMHO, as the instructions definitely show a discovery 3!!

Also seen the UB501471 is £75 dearer, and I notice it gains the WARN sticker on the winch tray.

Seems a lot extra for a sticker Whistle

-Also mine has a number plate bracket that mounts near the hawse - that isn't there on the D3 picture.

Like you say there doesn't appear to be any real difference between the 2. Other than the fitting instructions and cost Thumbs Up
