Cheers everyone, looks like I need to spend a few of the hard earned on a new applicator. I had a feeling the karcher one included a bit too much water to the foam. Will definitely give this a go, fly crap is causing me a headache, love my Fuji D4 but our livestock farm attracts a lot of flies and in turn they love sitting on my car, took me nearly an hour to clean my bonnet last summer!!!

I bought the snow foam lance from Autobrite and use it with the Karcher pressure washer, takes between 20 - 30 minutes for the snow foam to run off the car. Unless the car is really dirty I can usually get away with just rinsing the car and then rinsing again using a waterspot remover so that I don't have to leather it.

@Beanie, have a look at this link

May be they have the correct adapter for your pressure washer.

Hi GVW

I should have said filter Embarassed

Here is a link to the company I bought the filter from.

http://www.waterspot-filters.co.uk/#

I bought their refillable filter and have used it for just over a year now. The results have been really impressive but last time I used it I could tell that the filter material needed replacing. Unfortunately the company was out of stock but they did advise me where I could purchase the material from and it was cheaper Laughing

Thumbs Up

When you first use it, adjust the gun so that the consistency of the foam is fairly thickish, too thin and it just drips straight off the car without taking the dirt with it.

Oh and don't get too close to the car when you use it... or you'll end up looking like a snowman Embarassed Laughing
