Absolutely fabulous day Andy, you will not be disappointed. Our biggest complaint was not planning on camping.......easily 2 day's worth of top quality lanes. All credit to Matt and his ongoing prep, lanes mapped directly onto memory map at 1:250,000 running on that tough book was the business, no lag, ran rapid as you like and on XP to boot!
Being able to continue down non D3 friendly lanes in Matt's Can AM was awesome.....one of the lanes was so overgrown we emerged at the other end completely covered in nature!, on the return run back to the Disco we managed to get a wasp into the cage, proper kodak moment
We were out and running by 8am and I left Matt's lockup at 7ish, we didn't stop all day, just 45 mins for a rather tasty ham, egg and chips at a pub on the river.
We didn't take enough supplies, next time we said that decent food supplies would have allowed us to stay up and out longer.....so many stunning spots where you could cook up at. The weather obviously had a huge part to play, Matt was frying by the time we got back to Matt's, that buggy was cooking hot ......we had a rapid run on some fruity A Roads back to Ross under a cracking sunset, I cooked the Disco's breaks .....brilliant end to a brilliant day.

The first point where I lost the bottle with the Disco....a better more experienced driver could have gone further, I was starting to get worried about my paintwork and my winching skills
Matt gave me some constructive feedback.......'don't be a pus*y'

All of it 100% legal, we didn't cross anyone and no one crossed us; met a few people, we were courteous and so were they......what laning should be

Thats the beauty of laning in the outback so to speek, is it true they have six fingers
Was out myself this morning in Surrey, not much left as many are now closed because of all the F/Wits who can't stop wandering of the marked route
Will be up for your next trip for sure.
Thanks for sharing the photo's.
