Got my D4 back!
Whilst I was away, I put the D4 into the dealers for the power steering oil leak to be fixed. £450, £330 was labour! Luckily warranty direct are paying.
Also got 4 new Scorpions and a 4 wheel geo check done.
After a bit of negotiation GS Stockport price matched Tyre on the drive, which surprised me somewhat after their initial price of £275 per tyre! 😂
Paid £190 per tyre in the end. 👍

No Iggy, sticking with the 4. It’s driving like new again. Even looking like new now the dealer valeted it!

I put 4 new GG AT3's on, new AF Suspension arms and had Hunter checked.
Can't believe I've been putting up with such handling for so long.. drives like new..
£135 a corner fitted for GG AT3's
£parts cost for the Arms as fitted myself for the suspension arms

Don’t ever, ever, ever say that, she’ll hear and then you’ll be in a world of hurt. It’s seriously bad juju. I may have made the mistake of uttering words to that effect not a mile from where the engine let go.

I like to think of myself as experienced realist. Besides, why invite trouble outside the 3 year LR warranty?
Mind you I did my last pre-RT run today in Light Bluie (long story) to Lymington & back and did think mine was really running really nicely. She’s just had the belt service done, a new set of ATRs and a wash & hoover so she’s been thoroughly spoiled. She’s officially ready for fun and adventures.
