Got exactly what I expected from a Yodel delivery today...

...sweet Censored all!!!

As soon as the company I ordered the item from sent me the despatch notification and tracking number, I knew I wouldn't receive it as it was Yodel delivering it.

Yodel site said a drop card was left, which is utter Censored . Town centre address, bloody big letter box, a door entry system and they had my mobile number and they still couldn't be bothered.

Great service from the original company though, even though they have refunded me in full and will have to destroy the item once Yodel returns it...assuming they will!!!!

I used to use Yodel all the time when I did the grill mods and they were very good but recently they've been terrible.
I was shipping some random thing and booked collection, they never collected. I contacted them after the timescale had past and they offered me a refund and 3 times what I had paid in credit.

I refused and told them they'd had their chance and I'd waited in all day for them to collect and wouldn't be doing it again. Used Royal Mail as a last resort but my customer was obviously disappointed as I'd told him Yodel delivery, gave him the tracking details and delivery day only to be let down and made to look a proper tw@.
 Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.
Twin Brake Lights.
Wing Mirror Indicator Repeaters.
Long Roof Rails

I'm not scared, I'm outta here.

We call Yodel drivers 'delivery Ninjas' here - even when you sit and watch from the window you don't see them but then when you open the door to you find a parcel outside.

How do they do it? Bow down

Beats Fed Ex who delivered SWMBOs surprise birthday present on Monday while she was at work and I was in France in a plastic bag that looked like Freddie Kruger had been at it before it was kicked around all the dirty puddles in the depot car park. Appears the neighbours refused to sign for it because of the obvious damage so the driver left the package in the shed in the back garden with a card through the door.

When the driver came back the next day to collect it so it could be returned to the sender he said he didn't realise it was damaged... FFS! Nearly £200 worth of Musto jacket ruined! T Censored rs.

Yodal are the worst, I once complained about a non delivery, the online seller contacted Yodal who said they had rung the doorbell but no answer and they had left a card, I said I had been there all day, no card had been left, I don't have a doorbell (electric gates that had been left open), and no yodal driver had been anywhere near our house and I had CCTV to prove it.

Yodal emailed me directly to say the driver had taken a photograph of our house and enclosed the photo.....it was a screen print from google streetview of a completely different farmhouse in a different lane.

I cancelled my £400 order and got a full refund, never used the online seller again. I check now with sellers that they aren't going to use Yodal before placing orders as I don't have the time to mess about with them.

Must say another Thumbs Up For bigdave, whether receiving or sending.

And royal mail seem to have caught up as well, ordered from Ireland Tuesday night with free no rush 4-5 day delivery, good email communications and package arrived today in mint condition

HDNL The Home Delivery network were always useless and got a lot of bad press in order to shed their appalling performance and lack of customer service they changed their name to Yodel same old service with a different name
If you think collecting a parcel from their depot is easy think again once waited nearly 4 hours one Saturday morning for them to find a parcel in their Warrington depot that they tried to deliver to a business address about 13 hours earlier just before I got my parcel at about 11:50 they informed the 30 - 40 people queued up that they closed at 12:30 so some of them might not get their parcels one big guy stepped up and told the staff they all would get their parcels or there would be a riot
