I have tried it on auto and it did not work without the radio on.

I was in the car (not locked) but the radio was total off (no clock on the screen)

Thanks.

So, probably there was life in another part of the vehicle CANBUS - it isn't the clock being there that dictates system awakedness.

Try it again - give it 30 minutes lead time, lock the car etc. and I am prepared to bet it won't work.

The "i" should only appear if there is a message. If it is there all the time, then you need another software patch on the suspension - TFC posted a note on that earlier.

If you don't get the "i" when there is a message, then you don't have the latest software update.......and if you have Version 13 Patch 1 or higher, the heater settings will be removed......so sounds to me like you don't have the latest version.

mmm definitely have the new HEVAC software in there Smile Not had any errors on the car for months and months so maybe I will never see the 'i' with luck.

The pre-heat has always been before the cool on mine - and that's the way it is written up in the documentation too.

So, Simon, you have the updated HEVAC software, but not the updated Info Centre software, which is what kills the Setting options.

Glad we got that cleared up!

Mines a 1 week old 06MY SE and I have a pre heat / pre cool menu. I have seen it work too - with the little red symbol lighting up and the FBH coming on. Dont ask me how I did it though - I was still playing with buttons and not reading the manual at the time. BTW, the manual doesn't say much about how to operate the damn thing in the first place.

At first I thought the symbol was trying to tell me that I had parked on a hot spot......
