| Got a new jack at Billing |

Managed to buy myself a substantial (20 ton) hydraulic bottle jack at Billing today. Its a large version of the original type bottle jack fitted to D1 and D2. Made by Rolson.
It lifts the car with ease, the only draw back is the range is fairly small at 4 inches lift. It still gets the wheel off the ground if you raise to off road height first. It also has a 5 inch square base, ideal for stable jacking on uneven ground.
It also fits perfectly under the spare battery cover on the right hand side of the engine bay. I just need to manufacture a retaining strap.
Paid £20 for it.

£20? Sounds like a bargain. Is this a standard price for this jack or a show special? D3 HSE V8...
