GPS fail

Hi, I’m wondering if someone can give me some advice. I have a LR Discovery 4 2010. About a year ago. I had the Electronic Parking Brake Switch Control Module replaced and since then the GPS is not working anymore. The GPS switches on but It thinks I’m somewhere completely different. (Top left and corner of the screen the Letters GPS appear with a red line through it). A few weeks ago the break accumulator failed. When I removed the accumulator the GPS worked again. I found this very strange and took the car for a spin with no handbrake and the GPS worked fine. Then when I put the new accumulator in place the GPS stopped working again. Any ideas?

It sounds coincidental as there are no links between them, non at all.

But I’m assuming you don’t mean accumulator? Did you mean break module?

The only thing that is common is the GPS antenna lead has a connection under the carpet near to the EPB switch but you’d need to go some to disturb it.

Ok many thanks. Is that under the carpet under the passenger side?
