Unless we have someone to see over in Applecross I wouldn't go near the Bealach in the summer.

I’ve driven it. We got stuck behind a Tesco home delivery van heading for Applecross!

I’ve done it twice with my Velar, once in the snow which was easier than attempting it in the summer.

I’m doing part of the NC500 next month, missing out the East Coast, Inverness straight to Tongue, and missing Applecross, been there done it.

Next year I’m booked for Isle of Lewis. Booked a nice bungalow far cheaper than the hotels.

Just watched the first episode, not bad, but not great either ….. just the normal Clarkson & co stuff. Confused

But great to see they're still using D4’s as their camera cars. Thumbs Up

I watched it this morning with my 2 boys, both found it hilarious. If you can look through the obvious set ups, it’s easy ( but predictable) watching.

It was perhaps slightly muted compared to some of the best top gear episodes but it was still quite fun and all the kids liked it. And that’s what their entertainment is about and I think what made top gear so successful in the first place.

Quite enjoyed it until the end section. The American/Chinese village was very contrived and it felt like they'd run out of ideas.

I suspect the last bit may have been a despairing effort to finish the episode under increasing lock down orders?

Thought it was average (though still better than most kak on TV currently!)
As stated, very bizarre ending though!!
